Butterfly Frendship Poem! 28.10.2016
Butterfly Frendship Poem!
Have you ever admired a butterfly
There glamour and grace,
The kind that squat amongst the peach flowers
Looking for a peaceful place.
They flutter through the sky
The scorching sun against there delicate wings,
Far more dainty than any fly.
I watch them as they hover
And wonder how it could be
That whenever I see these beautiful creatures
Your face comes to me.
You are my best friend
You are always there for me and it never depends.

How? You find the common Factor (a number that can go into the fraction)EX. 20/24 the common factor is 4 because 20 divided by 4 =5 and 24 divided by 4 =6
=5/6
Nick Willis
Nick Willis!
New Zealand’s very own 1500m champion was born on the 25th of April, 1983.He was raised in Lower Hutt knowing he would always have a spot in his heart for running. He went to Hutt Valley high getting an athletics scholarship for the University of Michigan (U.K).Nick’s brother Steve Willis, is also an amazing runner, they were the only New Zealand brothers to have both broken 4:00mins for the mile.
Nick Willis didn’t just get his Olympic spots handed to him on a plate, he goes for a 10 hour run every week. Unfortunately in 2010 Nick had a fall out because of his knee surgery and not having a strong come back until 2011.His coach Ron Warhust born in 1943 has helped him all the way to the top and getting him to events like the Olympics and the commonwealth games.Ron Warhust is a former American track and field coach. He also was the head coach at the University of Michigan’s men track and field coach team for 8 years!
Nick Willis has won many amazing awards like 1 Olympic silver, 2 Olympic bronze and 1 commonwealth games winner. One of his closest competition is Matthew Ceantrowitz winning gold to Nick at the 2016 Olympics. He’s had plenty of competition being part athletics New Zealand club.Only being 33 years old he still has heaps of time to break records and be New Zealand’s 1500m champion.

Inquiry Reflection Term 2 2016
Inquiry Reflection!
This term In inquiry we have been doing lots of learning about Science - Planet Earth and Beyond. My question is: What impact does a tornado have on planet Earth and Jupiter? The answer to my question is easy really, a tornado wrecks heaps more on planet earth than on Jupiter because Earth has heaps of man built stuff where's jupiter just has sand, rocks, and cliffs to destroy.
I have made a model of a tornado. I started off with a large nappy box, then I painted a landscape inside the box, later I added items like houses , horses, trees, and more. My model hopefully shows the answer to my question because it has a line down the, one side is Wrecked and one side isn’t.I enjoyed making the tornado but didn't really enjoy painting the inside.
I liked doing the rotations and it’s the kind of thing I’d like to do again.

Week 7's Reflection! 2016
Divisible Numbers!
What? This week we have been learning the divisibility rule for 3.
Why?Because it is an easy strategy to use on any sized number.
How?It is actually really easy, so say you have the number 9174 you plus all the numbers together so 9+1+7+4=21.Is 21 one of the 3 time tables (yes).
